In a self-initiated university project, I created a fictional honey brand to practice and develop my branding identity and packaging design skills. I aimed to create a brand that focused on organic produce, being sustainable and ethical, whilst being visually attractive through an illustrative design style. My brand was applied through merchandise, social media, and a website concept design.
With focusing on the application of the brand through packaging, I produced jar labels and box packaging designs. The flat design illustrations and colour palettes that I created conveyed the floral and fruit flavours of the honey, and I experimented with printing the labels for physical product jars.
